# Banger + Hermes

Give Hermes access to your Banger workspace, so your ongoing work can include Mailboxes, Journeys, and Broadcasts.

## Before you start

Use an installed Hermes Agent with MCP support and a Banger account. This setup uses the documented configuration path; you can authorize from the Hermes dashboard too.

## 1. Add Banger to Hermes

Open ~/.hermes/config.yaml and merge this entry into mcp_servers. Keep your existing servers. Save the file.

```

## 2. Sign in once

Run the command below in a new terminal. Hermes opens the authorization flow. You can also use Authorize on the configured server in the Hermes dashboard or Desktop.

```
hermes mcp login banger
```

## 3. Connect your Banger workspace

Sign in to Banger in the authorization window, choose your workspace, and authorize the connection. Return to your agent when it finishes.

## 4. Start with one simple request

Restart your Hermes session or use /reload-mcp. Then ask Hermes to list your Banger mailboxes and summarize your active Journeys and recent Broadcasts.
