Broadcasts

Broadcast results

Delivered, opens, clicks, replies, and bounces, how they're counted, and each recipient's outcome.

In this guide 5 sections

Open a sent Broadcast. It has three tabs: Overview, Recipients, and Activity.

Overview

  • Delivered: accepted by the recipient’s mail server.
  • Opens: people who likely opened it or clicked.
  • Clicks: people who likely clicked a link.
  • Replies: people who replied.
  • Bounced: addresses that rejected it.

While it’s sending, the header shows progress, like “1,200 of 3,000 delivered.”

Why opens look lower than elsewhere

Banger counts people, not events, and only likely humans. Apple Mail and other privacy features load images automatically, and security scanners click links. Both are excluded, so the numbers reflect real readers.

Recipients

Filter by outcome: queued, sent, delivered, deferred, bounced, complained, unsubscribed, failed, or skipped. Each person is marked Replied, Human click, Estimated human open, or Automated activity excluded. The list shows the first 100 recipients.

Skipped means Banger didn’t send to that person, for example because their translation wasn’t ready within 24 hours.

Activity

A timeline of what happened to the Broadcast: approval, start, pauses, finish, and any errors, with an explanation of each.
