Deliverability and sending pauses

Bounce and complaint limits, when Banger pauses sending to protect your reputation, and how to resume.

Open Deliverability to see how your email is received over 7, 30, or 90 days: Overview, Providers (Gmail, Outlook, and others), Infrastructure (your DNS), and Resolve issues.

Limits

Banger checks each sending lane over the last 24 hours.

WarningSending paused
Bounce rateabove 2%above 5% (and at least 5 bounces)
Complaint rateabove 0.08%above 0.3% (and at least 3 complaints)

Small senders, under 100 emails, need more bounces or complaints before a pause.

A pause on Mail or Product email pauses the whole domain. If a second domain gets paused, the whole workspace stops sending until Banger reviews it.

Fix the cause

  • High bounces: usually an old or bought list. Resolve issues suggests addresses to suppress. Choose Approve fix.
  • High complaints: people don’t remember signing up, or you email too often. Check consent and set frequency limits.

Resume sending

After 24 hours, open the paused lane, say what you fixed, confirm, and choose Resume sending. For the next 24 hours, Banger sends in batches of 25 recipients. You can resume yourself once every 30 days. After that, or for a workspace pause, Banger reviews it.

Try it with your AI

Check our deliverability for the last 30 days, explain anything above the warning limits, and suggest which contacts to suppress.
