Broadcasts and Journey emails all use the same editor. Saved designs live in Designs.

Templates

Designs › Templates has 71 templates for welcome, onboarding, newsletters, announcements, receipts, and more. Filter by style or kind of business. Every template uses your brand kit. Make this my brand style sets a template’s style as your default.

Designs › Your designs lists what you’ve saved, with its version and how many Broadcasts use it. Duplicate copies a design. Archive hides it without deleting it.

Edit an email

Click any part of the email to edit it:

  • Subject & preview text: the preview text is the line inboxes show after the subject.
  • Headline, text, buttons: links must be full https:// addresses.
  • Images: upload PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP up to 2 MB, or paste a URL. Add alt text.
  • Sender details: your company name and footer address. Editing them here updates the brand kit.

The editor changes the content of a design, not its structure. To get a different structure, start from another template or ask your AI.

Each save makes a new version. Save new version keeps the previous one.

Personalize

Choose Insert contact field, search for the field, and set a fallback for contacts who don’t have it. Preview with sample data, or with fallback text to see what those contacts get.

Preview

  • Desktop: Apple Mail, Outlook for Mac, Gmail, Outlook on Windows.
  • Phone: iPhone Mail, Gmail on iPhone and Android.
  • Dark shows dark mode. Text shows the plain-text version.

The preview notes when an email app will swap a font or change colors in dark mode.

Checks before sending

Banger blocks or warns on a missing subject, missing unsubscribe link or address, relative links, missing alt text, unsafe HTML, and emails over 102 KB. Gmail clips emails above that size.

Write it with AI

The design editor shows Copy prompt for your agent: paste it into your AI, and the email updates as it saves. In ChatGPT, Banger Studio shows the email taking shape in the chat, and each change can be undone.

Try it with your AI

Start from the newsletter template, write this month’s product update from these notes, personalize the greeting with first name, and show me the phone preview.
